San Francisco folk duo Noctambule are delighted to make their first ever appearance at Fiddler’s Green – and their first return to Ireland since the pandemic.
No strangers to this region, Bruce Victor and Marla Fibish have performed across this island, including – Newry’s Iúr Cinn Fleadh and Culture Night, Dundalk’s Spirit Store, the Gerry Whelan Memorial Weekend, Cootehill, and The Masters Of Tradition in Bantry.
They play traditional and original music in a variety of forms – Irish trad, their own tunes in traditional forms, and inspiring musical settings of a broad array of poetry. Their work is rendered with sensitivity and humour on an unusual array of strings – different guitars in varied tunings, mandola, mandolin, cittern, tenor guitar – and their blended voices.
Noctambule will be launching their latest album Every Migrant Is My Fellow, hailed by Irish Music magazine as ‘one of the finest acoustically recorded albums of 2021’. Don’t miss Bruce and Marla’s gig – it will be a treat!
