Monday 23rd – Benny McKay
Benny started his career as founder of The Long Kesh Ramblers, during the Troubles, before forming the notorious Crubeen. He first played in France before progressing to America, Canada and Russia entertaining dignitaries far and near. Benny is renowned for his storytelling, backed up with songs that his audience will know and love. One of our local greats, Benny is sure to entertain and captivate his audience.
Tuesday 24th– Mitch McAteer
Mitch McAteer is one of Rostrevor’s own young musicians, who is no new sight to the local sessions. Mitch is now playing solo and can be seen in many bars around Rostrevor and afar. He plays a wide range of music mostly acoustic rock, with country influences. Over the last year or so he has started writing his own music, some of which may be heard at the gig.
Wednesday 25th – Oisin McCann
“Warrenpoint native and multi-instrumentalist Oisin McCann has performed in many settings both as a solo performer and in groups. More recently performing on the Radio Ulster Blackstaff sessions, Oisin was also part of the house band for BBC Radio “Burns an’ Mair” and has just completed touring with Peter Corry on “Call of the Celts”. Oisin delights his audiences with his virtuosity on flute, whistle, pipes and bodhrán and music that reflects his influences of Frankie Kennedy, Martin Meehan, John Joe Kelly, to name a few.”
Thursday 26th – Eilidh Patterson
Eilidhis a warm, engaging performer of startling clarity. With songs that cut straight to the heart, delightfully accurate guitar playing and her signature pure vocals, Eilidh immediately connects with audiences everywhere. In recent years, she has performed in the States, the UK and in Europe.

Friday – 27th– Enda McGloin
Enda McGloin is a singer songwriter from Kinlough, Co. Leitrim in the shadow of the Dartry Mountains on the shores of scenic Lough Melvin. Enda is a prolific songwriter and has also released a collection of poetry ‘A Joyful Sadness’. Two of Enda’s compositions were recorded and released by Inchequin on their album ‘On The Rocky Road’, Enda has performed his songs at gigs and festivals from Aberdeen to Madrid, London to Plzen. He launched his debut release ‘Lucid’ on 20th of April with a concert in the Church of Ireland Kinlough, where a packed room was treated to a extraordinarily tight nine piece band with Enda’s powerful lyrical imagery and evocative melodies
Saturday – 28th – Emily Shields
Emily Shields from Mullaghbawn, South Armagh, Northern Ireland, has been performing for many years. Emily is joined by her uncle, Dermot McQuaid, a well known and highly respected musician and singer. Emily and Dermot have played Support Act to Artists such as Cara Dillon, Andy Irvine, Sharon Shannon, The Fureys, Damien Dempsey and more. Their enchanting songs and beautiful vocal harmony arrangements makes their repertoire of traditional, folk and contemporary songs endearing to everyone. This band is just glimpse into the future of music in Ireland.
