Creative Arts Award

The Fiddler’s Green Festival prestigious Creative Arts Award

The Creative Arts Award was established in the year 2000. This award acknowledges achievement in the Arts & Literacy field, both of which are an integral part of the Fiddlers Green festival. The coveted trophy was crafted by leading Irish Sculptor Carolyn Mulholland and was first awarded to the late Nobel Laureate Seamus Heaney.

The presentation takes place each year during the Music of Healing event in An Cuan. This now famous evening will, as always be hosted by Tommy Sands.

The Fiddler’s Green Festival Creative Arts Award was presented to Seamus Heaney in 2000.
