Fiddlers Green Festival is honoured to welcome Seán Keane, the renowned Irish singer and musician from Caherlistrane, County Galway. Known for his distinctive sean-nós-style voice, Seán has captivated audiences worldwide with his unique blend of traditional Irish folk music, pop, blues, and country.
Seán’s musical journey began in a family steeped in musical tradition, including his sister Dolores Keane. He first gained recognition by winning a first prize in the Connacht Fleadh for singing in English.
Throughout his career, Seán has been a member of groups like Arcady and has released numerous solo albums, including All Heart No Roses, Turn A Phrase, and Gratitude (with the RTÉ Concert Orchestra).
In recognition of his outstanding contribution to Irish music and tradition, Seán Keane is the 2025 recipient of the Fiddlers Green Festival’s prestigious Hall of Fame Award.
