Scullion

Friday 17th July 2026 | 4:00pm | An Cuan, Rostrevor
Fiddlers Green Festival is proud to welcome the legendary Scullion to Rostrevor for what promises to be a very special afternoon of music in An Cuan.
Formed in the mid-1970s, Scullion have long been recognised as one of Ireland’s most innovative and influential live bands. Blending folk, jazz, poetry, traditional music, and contemporary songwriting, the group has continually pushed musical boundaries while remaining deeply rooted in the spirit of Irish song and storytelling.
At the heart of the band is the inspirational songwriting of Sonny Condell, whose unique musical vision continues to shape the band’s evolving sound. Joined by Robbie Overson and Philip King, Scullion’s performances combine musicianship, warmth, humour, and an unmistakable sense of musical curiosity.
Their acclaimed 2022 release Time Has Made a Change in Me further cemented their reputation as artists unafraid to explore new creative ground, weaving together influences as diverse as James Joyce and Sufjan Stevens while maintaining the emotional honesty and intimacy that have defined the band for decades.
Returning to the road once again, Scullion continue to captivate audiences old and new with performances that feel both timeless and completely fresh. Audiences at Fiddlers Green Festival can expect an afternoon of exceptional songs, rich musicianship, and unforgettable live performance from one of Ireland’s truly iconic bands.
